Atisha Centre is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing the opportunity for anyone to contact and benefit from the teachings of the Buddha. Staffed mainly by volunteers we are reliant upon the generosity of membership contributions and donations.

Atisha Centre – General Donation

This fund is extremely important for the daily running of the Centre. By donating to this item, you provide us with the flexibility to direct funds where they are most needed. You also share in all positivity created by the purpose of the Centre.

Library Computer

Help us purchase a new computer to support the incredible work of our dedicated Library volunteers and the Publications Project, which is preserving the teachings of Geshe Rabten.

This equipment will allow us to: Catalogue and maintain the growing library collection of books, recordings, photos and videos and record, digitise and archive Geshe Rabten’s teachings.

First Aid Course and Difribillator

Help us take care of our community by funding:
A First Aid training course for 12 Centre volunteers, to ensure a safe environment during retreats, teachings and events.
Plus - a Defibrillator (AED) to provide life-saving support in emergencies.

Atisha Centre Building Fund

This fund can be used for the acquisition, building and maintenance of most of our buildings.

Geshe and Translator Travel

We are raising money (around $17,500) to pay for travel expenses for Geshe Rabten and Venerable Dorje and visa renewal for Venerable Dorje.

This directly enables the continuation of our marvellous resource of Dharma teachings.

A fund committed to the continuation of the teachings of Geshe Rabten, our resident lama, by financing the daily living support and administrative costs of teacher and translator.

Restoration of the Golden Buddha

An opportunity to contribute to the restoration, protection and beautification of the golden Buddha statue in Atisha Centre's gardens.
