Join us  for any part of this morning's activities,
starting with the taking of precepts for the day at 5:40am.
Lhabab Duchen is a very auspicious and precious day of the year, celebrating the Buddha's return from visiting his mother in the realm of the gods - the descent from Tushita pureland.

The Buddha taught Dharma to the gods there, including his mother, Mayadevi, who had died a week after Buddha’s birth and been reborn there.
On the aniversary of this event each year, the results of all actions (both negative and positive) are multiplied many millions of times.
Lama Zopa Rinpoche says performing the Guru Shakyamuni Buddha puja, a beautiful and deeply inspirational puja, is an extremely powerful practice to do on this exceptionally auspicious day.
Schedule for the Morning:
5:40am ~ Prayers and taking the Eight Mahayana Precepts
7:00am ~ Sutra reading ["Sutra Remembering the Three Jewels" and "Sanghata Sutra"] with prayers
9:30am ~ Tea break
10:00am ~ Shakyamuni Buddha Puja
11:30am ~ Dedications
Please join us for any part of the morning.
